Only McCain's wife should question his VP choice

McCain's choice of running mate Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, is very interesting, yes. But why should any of us be concerned or surprised? We shouldn't.

As a presidential candidate, it's the biggest decision he will make. However, to those who have followed his career, it's not a big surprise that he picked an attractive woman after only one meeting.

His history tells us that when he sees a woman he wants, he gets her. It was at his first meeting of his second wife Cindy, that he knew he had to have her.

What does Mrs. Palin bring to the table? Well, she is a looker. McCain likes good looking women. And she appears to have natural good looks, unlike the obvious expensive manufactured looks of McCain's current wife. Remember, he left his first wife after she lost her looks.

So, who should be alarmed? It's Cindy McCain, and only Cindy McCain. The rest of us have nothing to lose. Well, maybe Mr. Palin may have some concerns.

Remember. You can't teach an old maverick new tricks.

Real cost of reparations.

How often have we heard that America needs to pay reparations for slavery? Too many. And how many times have we asked for an exact figure? Too many.

Well, I have arrived at the minimum cost of reparations so adamantly sought by a select few black Americans who desire such a monetary payment. The total minimum cost is $1.6 million. That's it.
I know. You're probably rondering how I arrived at that precise number.

Well, to once and forever settle the reparations argument, all America has to do is elect Barack Obama president of the United States for one term. At $400,000 per year that's $1.6 million total, give a few thousands for benefits. Not per black person, but total.

Once America has a black president, that will end all talk about a glass ceiling for blacks. It will remove every black excuse of the lingering effects of slavery.

In one full swoop, the Jesse Jacksons, Al Sharptons and other race peddlers can be silenced without any personal gain, which is the real motive for reparations.

Then, and only then my friends, can America move forward, united as one strong country.
